Simple recipe and something that I wanted to inaugurate my Air Fryer with since it had been sent by my brother from overseas. He thought it would be a good addition to the house in terms of healthy eating considering my parents are getting old. So without further ado:-
Also sharing the recipe because it is simple and convenient in execution and I got a lot of compliments for it.
It takes approximately 20 minutes to cook in the fryer while it takes 30 minutes to prep the dish hoping that you have all the ingredients that are required in the house and it serves four to five people if you consider my son’s appetite as he is only three and a half years old.
3 pounds chicken wings
2 tablespoons Olive oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
6 cloves garlic finely chopped
1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
3 green chillies finely chopped
1 tablespoon allspice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons brown sugar
4 finely chopped scallions
1 tablespoon finely chopped thyme
5 tablespoons lime juice
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- In a large mixing bowl combine all the ingredients, covering the chicken thoroughly with the seasonings and marinade.Transfer to a 1 gallon re-sealable bag and refrigerate between two and 24 hours.
2. Preheat the air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius. Remove the wings from the bag and drain all the liquid. Pat wings completely dry with a paper towel. Place the wings in the cooking basket and cook for 20 minutes, shaking halfway through. Serve with blue cheese dipping sauce or ranch dressing.
